During the
semester holidays, my friends and I would like to visit the National Park in
Pahang, also named as King George V National Park, which is ubicated near to Kuala
Lumpur, Malaysia. The Pahang National Park is one of the most popular tourist
attractions in Malaysia. It is known far and wide for its beauty and good
conservation.
One of our objectives is to reach the majestic
Gunung Tahan, which is the highest point in the Peninsular Malaysia. The Gunung
Tahan classic trail is the oldest and most scenic trail from the area. A return
trip on this trail typically takes 6-7 days. On the trail climbers have to trek
across undulating ridges and make several river crossings before reaching the
foot of the mountain to make the final ascent.
